Sports & Actvities:Varsity and competition cheer and dance

What are you most proud about at your time at SHS: During my time at SHS, I would have to say I am most proud of winning State Runner Up at Game Day Cheer competition this year, and qualifying for state every year.  We worked hard as a team and just kept improving to get better and better!

Favorite HS memory: It will always be the pep assemblies, cheering at all the football games and seeing how hype everyone gets, as well as cheering at the State games for our football and girls’ basketball last year.

Words of wisdom to the younger cheerleaders: Don’t sweat the small stuff.  Be respectful of your teammates and always be willing to help out in a positive manner.  Enjoy every moment of your cheer days because they will fly by.  That not only means games and competitions, but practices too.  Make friends & make memories.

Favorite HS memory: Getting to experience state mulitple times with some of my closest friends.

Words of wisdom to the younger cheerleaders: Take advantage of the long, hot, tough practices  you have and the days you get to wake up and go to school.  You may dread that moment but when it’s gone you really do miss it.

Favorite quarentine activity: It would have to be watching my baby cousins  who are twins!

Favorite HS memory: Looking up in the stands on Friday nights and pondering how thankful I was to be a part of SHS.

Words of wisdom for the younger cheerleaders: Take in every moment. Every practice, game, camp, event, etc.  Give it your all so when you finish your last moment as a SHS cheerleader you will have no regrets.

Quote to live by: “Every day may not be good, but there is good in every day.”

What are you most proud of about your time at SHS: The awards, grades, etc are important, but what you will look back on the most is the bond and friendships you make while trying to achieve those things.  I am proud of the relationships I build with my teachers and peers.
