Math-Have fun multiplying! Multiplying by 10 – 5th Grade Math Game
Science/SS-Look at the different Constellations and choose a few of your favorites. Ask your parents for a few sheets of black paper and a push pin. Using half a sheet of black paper, use a pencil to recreate your favorite Constellation. Then gently use the push pin to create the “STARS” in your constellation (punch holes in the paper with the pin). Recreate as many Constellations as you would like. When finished tape them to a light on the ceiling, turn out the light, and enjoy the night sky! Math- Plan a trip to Bryce Canyon. Your parents are giving you $500 to spend while you are there. You will be there for 5 days. Think of all the expenses you will have. Make a list of how and what you will spend your money on? Don’t forget you have to EAT and SLEEP somewhere! After making a list, did you have enough money? Did you have any left, if so how much? If you didn’t have enough, how much more would you need?
