This will be my first year teaching with Sulphur Public Schools but my family has been a part of the Bulldog Community since 2012.
I began teaching and coaching at Inola Public Schools in Inola, Oklahoma in 2001. There I served on staff for 11 years teaching Middle School and High School, coaching Junior High Basketball, and assisting with High School Softball and Basketball. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Inola. In 2011, I stepped down to stay at home with my children.
I have been married to my husband, Les Scheer, for 17 years. Together we have two children. Jadelyn, our daughter, is a Freshman and Luke, our son, is a 3rd Grader.
We moved to Sulphur in 2012 when my husband began serving as the Youth Pastor at Crossway. In 2016, our family moved to Ecuador, South America as missionaries for 2 years. We lived in Quito for 1 year to learn the culture and Spanish Language and then we lived almost another year in a remote village amongst the Quichua and Mestizo People groups. We returned to Sulphur in 2018 and we are excited to be back home in this amazing community.
When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family. We love to be outdoors, playing sports, going on hikes, playing games, just having fun.
