Lesson plans

Thank you for helping your child continue their education through distant learning. We will be continuing our assignments for the remainder of the year using Moby Max. The students should be able to do this own their own however if they need help or have forgotten their login information feel free to contact me by email amanda.crawford@sulphurk12.org.

April 6th-17th

Reading and language- students will log on and complete 20 minutes of reading or language on moby max. If I have your child for both language and reading they will need to complete 20 minutes per subject daily.

These lessons increase the students reading and language by providing independent reading. This includes practicing fluency, comprehension, analyzing details, vocabulary, spelling, grammar and usage,

April 20th- April 30th

Reading-Students are to read a book of their choosing then identify main idea, setting, characters, and plot. Please encourage your child to read daily for at least 10 minutes. They may email me their answers at amanda.crawford@sulphurk12.org

Language- Students are to write a 5 paragraph essay over the last month. This could be the things they have enjoyed, things they miss, what they are looking forward to, or anything they have done during the last month.  They are to revise this before turning it in by email at amanda.crawford@sulphurk12.org.

Thank you to all the students and parents for doing your part in keeping your child learning. I want to stress the importance of the students continuing to read during this time. I miss each one of the students and am looking forward to seeing them soon.
